Save-A-Life Simulator: An international athlete teaches millions the right way to respond to sudden cardiac arrest.

Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is the leading cause of death among young athletes. To reach this demographic, we featured Ricky Rubio, international and NBA basketball star, in the Save-A-Life Simulator, a virtual choose-your-own-adventure game that teaches bystanders how to respond to SCA. We created English and Spanish versions and made the site shareable online.

The site has garnered 182 million media impressions and is being used by athletic trainers, major universities and medical centers globally. The Save-A-Life Simulator has had 5.5 million unique visitors and was recently credited with helping save a real lifeā€”on a basketball court in Chicago.
